Privacy is DEAD – Long Live SECRECY!!!

 

 

 

I read (here) that Google Street View defends itself against privacy fears as saying:

“Google has defended the feature against privacy concerns by saying that these images are no different than what people would see in their everyday lives and “easily accessible tools for flagging inappropriate or sensitive imagery for review and removal”"

1. Just because people can see some aspects of lives from the street does not imply that everyone of them:
   • Has good intentions for looking at your life or privacy from the public areas
   • Will put to harmless uses whatever they see of your private life
   • Does not exclude stalkers, scam-artists, gangsters, thugs con-artist benefiting from such views.
2. Google should seriously be sensitive that because they can do something does not mean they are justified to do it.
3. Just because I can see the public spaces does not justify me to put camera to capture images of those public; 7/24 web cams capturing all the goings on in the street in front of you house, wherever you go?
4. What about focusing a 1000 CCTV cameras at the public street or the private residence across from yours. What if that was Britney’s  or Paris’ residence; wouldn’t that be harassment or invasion of privacy. (The peeping Tom scum-bag might even erect surveillence towers to mount CCTV or fly remote-controlled drone helicopters on regular surveillence flights over someone’s private property; stalking or invasion of privacy?)
5. Google should take responsibility and seriously consider the harm they are unleasing onto unsuspecting citizens.
6. Is Google advocating the ancient scum artistry of peeping toms and such scum bags by bringing the images right to their desktops?
7. Where is the privacy, sociological, criminalistic impact assessment study that Google undertook before launching their street view.
8. Nowadays everyone jumps into action without careful thinking and they will let lawyers and the lobbyists take care of the mess that they leave behind.
9. Google is facilitating no-gooders and all the scum of the earth with more tools to take advantage of people by giving the scum easier access to private details that are necessary for the scum to meet their ends.
10. Folks just like you need curtains for your windows; you need every privacy tool out there to keep your private details of your lives away from Google and all their services.
11. No one ever invited Google to invade their lives and create a perpetual and everlasting database of their private lives; they imposed on unsuspecting people without asking for their permission or they sneaked into your lives with nifty search services and ‘free” e-mail and all other freebie that act as bait and switch traps for capturing your the private detail of lives details.
12. Is it too late to stop Google owning and your privacy?
13. Think again; how much of Cheney does Google know?
14. If your house appears on Google Street,View seek to have it removed. If they have details in their database ask them to purge them!
15. Write to your parliamentarians ( in your millions for goodness sake!)
16. Never use Google unless it via tools like Onion or anonymous proxy services and  not just that; encrypt every e-mail and use PGP, encrypt hard drives and any storages, Always communicate in secret code!
17. Forget about Gmail, Google desktop search etc.
18. Folks out there are not privileged like Cheney and Bush who can secretly snoop into every minute detail of your private lives with no checks and balances whatsoever; but will never shade any light into their secret dilly dally activities as they can easily invoke Executive Privilege and for Cheney it is either Executive or Legislative depending on who wants to know.
19. For goodness sake; Simbai Mukusha is dead!
20. You have justification/motivation to hide everything! Start right now! Don’t put it off. The reasons are not  just because of Bush and Cheney, but because of the con artists, stalkers, and all the scum of the earth that need the private details that you might consider innocuous in order to prevail in their evil missions.
21. You never know who is tapping into NSA or google indexes it might be some scum bag con-artist.
22. NSA and Google employees are human too; so you have been be warned.
23. No one knows what harm can be caused by our failing to hide private details we take for granted.
24. I have learnt something from Cheney if anyone wants any details about me, I  invoke my own privileges; and about my whereabouts; they shall remain undisclosed.
